Jahangir Mir provides water cooler, desks to school

POONCH, May 4: Deputy Chairman, Legislative Council Jahangir Hussain Mir has provided electric water cooler and desks to Government M S Boys Poonch city worth Rs. 1.5 lacs out of his CD Fund which was installed and inaugurated by him today.
Besides prominent citizens, parents and staff the education officers were also present on the occasion. While addressing the audience Dy. Chairman said that the students are the future of the nation and as such it is the responsibility of the teachers to impart good education to them. He said that though the modern infrastructure, equippments and new educational techniques are the need of the hour yet the basic requirement is work culture and responsibility towards the betterment of educational system.
He said that the students are simply students irrespective of their backgrounds and teachers should take them equally and encourage the downtrodden.  He said that the Government school teachers are highly qualified and more paid so the educational standard of the government school students should be at par with private institutions.

District police installs water cooler at Govt School

SAMBA, May 14: Continuing with the aim to strengthen police–public relations, District Police Samba installed a water cooler at Government Middle School, Makoranwali (Bari-Brahmna) under its Civic Action Programme (CAP).
The water cooler was inaugurated by SSP Samba in the presence of Additional SP Samba, SDPO Bari-Brahmna and SHO, police station Bari-Brahmna.
On the occasion, ZEO Purmandal, Sarpanches/Panches of the nearby villages and about 100 prominent persons of the area were also present.
SSP Samba also interacted with the students as well as prominent persons of the area who highlighted certain problems being faced by them and they were assured that their issues shall be put forth before the concerned authorities for appropriate redressal.

How to Maintain a Water Cooler ?
How to clean a water cooler ?

It depends on model of water cooler to clean it and take care of it.
but basic practices remain same.


First switch off and disconnect the electrical contact by taking out plug from electrical socket.
Or switch of MCB in case of large water coolers.


Outer body made of stainless steel can be clean with damp cotton cloth.
If dust is more, clear it first with dry cloth, gently.
Do not rub dry cloth with pressure on body as it may scratch the body panels.
Then use damp cloth only.


How to clean tank of a water cooler ?
To clean inner side of a water cooler needs some more effort.
Unscrew top cover with help of screw driver or the bolts according to models.
Flush all water from exit tap of tank system to empty it.
Use dry and clean cotton cloth for cleaning work of the tank.
Use some mild soap to clean the tank.
Any liquid soap or cake that is used in kitchen for cleaning stainless utensils can be used here too.
Similarly clean with water the entire tank and flush water properly through pipe and taps.
Keep floor dry & clean under or nearby area of water cooler.
In rainy days / season, humidity is more and some extra drops / water can be there on/under cooler body.
As in case of Air Conditioners you see more water if humidity level is high.
